Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using DocRush at docrush.app (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

DocRush is an online PDF reader and annotation tool that allows users to open, annotate, search, and sign PDF documents in their browser. The Service is available in a free tier (with advertisements) and a Pro tier (paid, ad-free with additional features).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using DocRush, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Accounts

To access certain features (cloud sync, Pro subscription), you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at contact@docrush.app if you suspect unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Upload, annotate, or process PDF files containing illegal content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or stress-test the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all PDF files you open and all annotations you create. DocRush does not claim any ownership over your content. By using cloud sync (Pro), you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit your annotations solely to provide the Service to you.

PDF files are processed locally in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly choose to share them.

6. Pro Subscription

DocRush Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks ad-free experience, cloud sync, and priority support. Subscription fees are charged via Razorpay and are stated at the time of purchase.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Advertisements

The free tier of DocRush displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. By using the free tier, you consent to the display of such advertisements. Pro subscribers do not see advertisements.

8. Intellectual Property

The DocRush name, logo, and all software, design, and content of the Service are owned by DocRush and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
